Turquoise water and white sand on a Cancun beach

Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 26 October 2026

The short version

Cancun Pointer is free to read. The site is funded through affiliate links. When you book a hotel or an activity through a link on this site, we may earn a small commission from the booking platform — and it costs you nothing extra. That's it.

Who we work with

Cancun hotel buttons go to Agoda with partner id 1979057. Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Klook, Tiqets and several transport and eSIM programmes are linked through Travelpayouts (marker 705381). When you click a booking link, that platform records that the referral came from this site. If you go on to book, they pay a commission out of their own margin. Viator links, where they appear, stay as stored because this site does not invent a campaign id for a programme it has not joined.

It never changes your price

You pay exactly the same price whether you reach the booking platform through a link on this site or go there directly. The commission comes from the platform, not from you.

Recommendations stay independent

Guides feature places based on what helps a traveller — quality, location, value, and real guest ratings. A hotel or activity doesn't get a better write-up because it earns a higher commission, and the site does not take payment for sponsored placements. If that ever changes, it will be labelled clearly.

Always check before you book

Prices, availability, and conditions in Cancun change constantly. Confirm the current details on the booking platform before you commit. Your booking is a contract directly with that provider under their terms — see the Terms & Conditions for more.
