Hi, I'm Lia. I edit Cancun Pointer, and I write the way I wish travel sites talked: specific, honest, and a little bit funny.

Lia is 28, half Colombian and half German, and the editor of Pointer Guides. She loves travel, fitness and festivals, and she writes with German practicality and Colombian warmth. Guides are built from current sources (official venue info, recent traveller reviews, booking-site listings and local news), with prices and hours checked and pages refreshed when things change.

I'm 28. My family is half Colombian and half German, which is a useful mix for a travel editor: one side wants you fed and laughing, the other side wants the bus fare written down. I love a morning run, a beach workout when the sand is firm enough, and a city festival when the dates are real. I will not pretend I have slept in every hotel on this site, and I will not invent a price.
